To check your firmware version on the DSi or 3DS. Please click the settings button on the main menu. In the settings, the firmware version will be displayed on the top screen, in the bottom right hand corner. The number on the end (a, e etc) doesn't matter, that just represents what region you are from.

The update method of the Amaze3ds is to run an NDS update file on the device. This means you will need to run it on a Ds lite (since the device can never be blocked on that) or a Dsi that has NOT been updated yet. You cannot run the update file on a console that has already been updated, becuase of course, the card is blocked from booting up in the first place.

The Amze3ds is our card that we choose to be the cheapest card on our website. It has solid hardware, and the software doesn't look like 'WOOD' software, but it it based off it so it is also pretty solid with software. Want a DS solution but you are on a budget?
The Amaze3ds has inbuilt moonshell, so you can play Mp3s, dpg movies, and view picture without needing to download extra homebrew...its built into the menu.
The Amaze3ds certainly cannot compete with the features of the more expensive cards like the Supercard DS2, however the price of the card is cheap, and the basic features and great homebrew compatibility will be enough for most casual gamers.
The card does not require activation, it already comes working on all the console listed above. All you need to do is drag on the latest menu system which can be downloaded from the Amaze3ds website here.
