The CycloDSi is compatible with:

To check your firmware version on the DSi or 3DS. Please click the settings button on the main menu. In the settings, the firmware version will be displayed on the top screen, in the bottom right hand corner. The number on the end (a, e etc) doesn't matter, that just represents what region you are from.

The update method of the Cyclo Dsi is to make some files with their bootstrap tool. Put the files onto a micro sd card, and then put the cycloDSi in the 'UFO' device for flashing. No console is needed for this update process, it can be done from a computer.

The CycloDs iEvo is the first, and currently the only DSi mode flash card. Its a little known fact that the M3i, acekard 2i and R4i are just DS flash cards that run in backward compatibility mode on the DSi. The SuperCard DS2 also does this, but has an on board processor that allows you to run emulators, avis etc without needing the DS to help.

Please note there is NO Australian/New Zealand Boot strap for DSI mode. This means that Australian console (with a firmware number ending in the letter 'a') will NOT be able to run in DSi mode, only in DS mode on (which will work on a 3ds, dsi, ds etc) . If you have an Australian console, and are looking for a slightly more enhanced mode the the Supercard DS2 might be a better option.

The iEVO is the only card that actually can run in DSi mode. Meaning you have access to DSi hardware such as the cameras and Sd card slot.

The iEVO comes blank. Blank as in, blank blank blank. Users will need to follow the activation steps that are details on the cycloDs website. Please note that we cannot help you with acquiring the software to activate the card. If you have an Australian Dsi, please use the Europe Bootloader (as mentioned above though, it will not work in DSi mode). If you have a Japanese console, there is no DSi bootloader yet (but the console will still work in DS mode)

Please also note that since we have free registered post shipping...the iEvo will ship without the metal TIN. If you choose express post you will get all packings. The reason why we have to take the product out of the tin is simply because the tin is too bulky to send for free.
