Small USB Jtag programmer that allows you to update drivekey. This product was delayed, and meant to be here in January. Finally customers can update to play NSMB with a BCA fix. The programmer also gives power to update 100% of the device. However the device is as only as good as its updates.
Comes with Programmer, and a bonus USB cable!
Needed:
- Genuine DriveKey
- Drivekey Jtag cable <-- Have you lost it? You can buy it above with the d2kprog
- Windows machine
- Your drivekey serial number to register the device and download the update (you can get this by pressing the eject button 3 times)
Important Info:
its a good idea to download the files for your drivekey BEFORE you buy the product. There is a readme file in the FPGA update file.
With the 4 switches on the d2kprog
Please make sure that if you have it in your wii, all of them are DOWN. So they are all in the state that is closest to the numbers (1, 2, 3, 4)!!! thats the state of being OFF
if you have it outside your wii (i.e not powered), then you have to turn number 2 UP, i.e. ON, this will give the drivekey enough power!
If the drivekey has no power, the application will through the error "ID CODE MISMATCH" or similar.
