The Eclipse Mod was one of the first ps3 mods to be released. It ships blank, but can easily be programmed on in windows with an exe file. All units will be programmed and then erased before shipping
The Eclipse can boot a Ps3 on 3.41 firmware into development mode. Development mode a hidden mode on the console, which allows you to install applications. If you would like you develop your own applications you can visit http://psl1ght.com/ for open source and legal SDKs.
The eclips3 does NOT work on 3.42, 3.50, or 3.55 firmware etc. Only on 3.41. If you are on 3.42 and 3.50 it is our understanding that it is now possible to downgrade your console with the help of this device. WE DO NOT PROVIDE ANY SUPPORT REGARDING THIS. All we can help you with is the programming of the tool, which is very very very simple!
Download and install this file, which is a DLL file your Pc needs to talk to the device - this - Then run this exe file, which will allow you to program the device for development mod, downgrader mod, erase, import hex file, or import payload
OZMODCHIPS will not provide support for interface possibilities. We will not give refunds for the device if you buy it for 3.55 or 3.42/3.5 and don't know how to downgrade. Read before you buy please. Please do not come into the store thinking we are going to help you either, we WILL NOT under any circumstances provide support for anything other then programming the device which is already detailed above.
