The WODE is a device that allows you to hook up a harddrive to your Wii. It was the most successful product we every took ordered for (before it came in).

It can be used on any wii, runnign any software, from any region, with any serial number. Yes, it works on EVERY SINGLE WII!

The great new as of 11/03/2010 is that disc ripping is nearly available. It means that you can insert an original game into your Wii, click 1 button, and the game is transfer to your harddrive. We will post more info as soon as it si available - Buy WODE here

We have modified all of our DS and DSi combo prices!

The base price of the unit is the same, but the new prices are

+$15 for 2gb
+$25 for 4gb
+$40 for 8gb

Xbox 360 JTAGing is great, but the number of console that can be modified is getting smaller and smaller by the day. Every week we spend a while looking for these consoles. As of 15/02/10 we willbe closing at 5pm, instead of 6. Most people can't seem to make it after work from the city because of the traffic, so there is no point in us opening for an extra hour. We will extend our hours during the busy season again. Thanks

	Hacking News for Feb 2010 Everything is moving pretty fast at the moment! It looks like 2010 is going to the biggest year for modchips, hacking, and customisation.

Finally its now in stock, and still selling like hot cakes. It keeps your Wii software in its original state, so you are ok to go online, update, etc. To the Wii, it is invisable! 	For xbox 360: Two things: 1. You can get your 360 reflashed with Ixtreme LT if you want to play on xbox live. If you get banned, you get banned, but right now its undetectable. Post in your console, or come into your store 2. You can now get certain 360s to run homebrew, so far Running 360 game from a harddrive Ripping games, from your 360 drive Emulators XBLA, DLC, and a bunch of other stuff It can only be done to certain consoles, we have a limited amount of 360s in stock, premodified and ready to go, or you can post your console in. Do it yourself (crazy good soldering skills and lots fo reading) Post in your console (or bring it into our Melbourne Store) Buy a Premodded 60gb unit!
	For Ps3: There has been some progess with play station 3 hacking. Stay tuning for more info in the coming months
	For DS Lite and DSi: Same thing as before, you buy a flash card for your console, and thats it!

WODE News

We have sold (as of 16/12/09) approx 85% of our first batch. Our first batch will not be shipped at once, it will be shipped in 3 to 5 seperate shipments. If you want one, preorder it, there will either be nothing left when they come in, or close to nothing. That is unless we can convince them to sell us some more, which they are refusing to do at the moment...

24/11/2009 - Price Drops

Our more expensive DS and DSi flash cards have dropped in price due to us buying all our xmas stock and getting a great price due to the USD.

For DS/DSlite prices have been lowered

15/11/09 - WODE News

The WODE has been on preorder for a while. It was a delayed a little due to the factory making the plastic mold. So far its been the most successful product we have put up for preorder.

For those that has just landed on our website, the WODE is a device that allows you to plug in a USB harddrive into your wii and play games from there. No discs needed anymore!

The WODE might sell out before xmas, hopefully we will get out second batch before then. We will have more than enough stock to cover all preorders though, shipping very soon

14/11/09 - New Super Mario Bros Protection + Xbox Live bannings

Nintendo has out some new protection on the New Super Mario bros games. The original works fine, but if you make a 1:1 copy of your original a modchipped wii can either not boot it, or lets it run for 5 minutes, and then forces a a DRE (disc read error). Hopefully modchip companies can get this fixed. We will update everyone when we know more, but in the mean time....just use your original!
Its reported that roughly 1 million people have been banned from xbox live for having a modified console. If you haven't logged into live for a while, don't!. No, there is no way to unban your console. Most questions are explained here. Most people have gone and bought a second console. 1 Console they use for XBL, and then their "offline" console.

30/10/09 - ix 1.61 for 360

New firmware was released today for wave 4 games. I-xtreme 1.61 came out for Samsung and BenQ DVD drives. All other drives (liteon) will have to wait a little longer.

23/10/09 - New xbox 360 flashing services

We are starting to flash a LOT of xbox 360s and have 3 changes

Xbox 360 reflashing in our store is only $30 now. Via post it is only $45
If you would like to post in your DVD drive only, the normal service is a little cheaper
Postal flashing is not $75. Flashing in our store is $60.

The reason why we are offering reflashing to cheap is for the newer ixtreme that will come out to combat wave 4 games (no idea when this is going to come out btw). If you have 1.6 you can still get them boot using activate.iso, it will just get a little annoying after a while. Remember this reflashing is also for people that have had their firmware flashed somewhere else (i.e. yourself, or not us!)

21/10/09 - Random OzModChips news.

Our latest batch of Drivekeys are in stock, and they are now at a cheaper price due to the strong AUD and the Wiikey Fusion (which is made by the same team). Wasabi has also dropped in price. We might not restock wasabi DX - as reliable as their hardware is, the software is not as good as the Drivekey with block game updates.
WODE is about 3 weeks away, not long now. We will be getting 1 of only 9 prototype units that have been made. We will me making some videos. If you want us to test anything out please email us and let us know.
Wiikey fusion will be here in 2 weeks or so. Apparently the product is ready and they are production stage.
Wave 4 for 360 games is here, which means games that come out Novemeber onwards won't work with ix 1.6. You can still use activate.iso to allow the game to boot. We are modding 360s in our store for $60, and $30 only for a reflash. Its an opening special that we are happy to extend for the xmas peroid.
There is a new unmodded DVD drive in xbox 360s with the manu date on the back greater than 23/08/09. We don't know how long it will take for the firmware to come out to hack this drive, but it might not be before xmas! If you don't have a 360 yet, make sure you check the date on the back before buying it!

	27/09/09 - FlatMii + Kreon DVD drives We have a limited number of SATA Kreon DVD drives Do you have one of those new DVD drives that can't be modded yet? If you have a laptop, or a PC next to your TV (HTPC) then the flatmii still works on your wii. The flatmii is a total DVD drive emulator, so it doesn't matter what type of DVD drive you have.
	18/09/09 - Wiikey Fusion + WODE 2 new products annouced recently for the wii. The Wiikey Fusion is a new modchip for the wii that is a combination 2 main features. The first is the Drivekey modchip, the second is the abiloty to boot ISOs off SD cards. The product will be priced fairly cheap, and will be shipping in mid October. The second product is WODE. Its bassically the product that all hardware lovers have been waiting, and dreaming of. It will allow users to launch games from a harddrive without having to modify any software. OzModChips will be official supplier for both products. You will be able to buy the product here FIRST :)
	17/09/09 - OzModChips retail store opening soon? Yes, in about 2 weeks or so in the Eastern Suburbs here in Melbourne. This means customers will be able to pick up products if they want, get their console modified without booking in a date, just by showing up to our store. Anything under that is probably safe to work with Drivekey/WasabiDX, anything over that number will probably not work. We advise customers in Australia and world wide to hold off buying a modchip if their wii was purchased after August 15th 2009. There is a modchip coming from wiikey, codename 'Wiikey 3' Mid september that will combat this new DVD drive.

We will email all M3i customers as soon as we hear about the update.
	1/08/09. M3i Zero is the latest DSi Flash card, we have a large amount of stock ready to ship M3i Zero on its own M3i Zero + 2gb card M3i Zero + 4gb card M3i Zero + 8gb card The M3i Zero is a backward compatible card with the DS and DS Lite, so even if you don't have a DSi its still going to work!
	1/08/09 - Nintendo has issued an update for the DSi, firmware 1.4, that blocks DSi flash cards from working. Currently all cards are blocked. We will update everyone once there is a solution, but for now please leave your DSi on the firmware it is on now and don't connect it to the internet.
