Really Important info:

• This device will only work on Australian PS2s! Please do no order if you have a console from a different region
• Like the memor32, Sony has changed the hardware of the newer consoles. SCPH-90000, 90002 and anything they bring out with a higher number then that will NOT work with this memory card hack
• Only works with DVD PS2 games, doesn't work with CD PS2 games
• All other Australian consoles will work fine

If you haven't read the Memor32/Memento page on our website, this product does need a bit of an introduction. The Memor32 was very very popular for us, it allows you to modify your PS2 by just inserting a hacked memory card into your PS2 Memory card slot. The Memor32 promised a lot, with development videos of working USB Hard Drive Loaders. Unfortunately the hackign team must have run into some problems, and the firmware everyone was waiting for never really came. The compatiblity in the end was about 85% or so...which is still pretty good, but it has issues with popular games like Singstar, Buzz, etc.

At the same time, a bunch of guys wanted to make an open source version of the Memor32/Memento firmware, and after months and months of work, its done. This software solution is free open source software (FOSS) and can be obtained and downloaded absolutely FREE! We do however give you the opportunity to pay a small price for the memory card and our time to install and configure this software for you. The software, is Free McBoot version 1.8.

The Memor32 alternative works in the same way.

• Step 1: Make a backup ISO of the game you want to burn
• Step 2: Patch the game with ESR patcher. Takes 2 seconds. Download here
• Step 3: Burn the ISO onto a DVD
• Step 4: With the Memor32 alternative Device in your memory card slot, put in your game, and turn on your PS2.
• Step 5: A little menu will pop up with the option "launch CDVD". Press "X" on your controller. Thats it!
