Pre-Modified Wii with Wiikey V2 installed (customizable)

Stock Status - out of stock. All of the new wiis have "d3/d2nothing" chips inside. This means they can only be modded using the drivekey. We don't really feel the need to charge such a high markup on something that can be installed by anyong. The best idea would be to buy a wii in the stores as cheap as you can. Buy the Drivekey modchip from us, and install it in 10~15 minutes. There is no soldering required.

What is the difference between the D2pro and the Wiikey version 2?
I know we are going to get this question a million times so here it is. The answer in short is, not much at all. Wiikey version 2 is still made by the same team. It is still made of high quality hardware. It same the same compatibility with games (100% from PAL region, about 70% of NTSC games). It sstill upgradeable via DVD. The 1 plus that the wiikey version 2 has on the d2pro is its stability. They are using a different brand of IC, and its not affect by certain noisey drives like some D2pros where, which means the infamous 'eject issue' the d2pro had, should never happen. The only thing the wiikey v2 doesn't have, its the ability to upgrade 100% of the code on the modchip. The d2pro and the wiikey work in the same way -- There are 2 chips that work together to hack your wii, look at the photo below.

See that black chip at the top? Thats the 'SPI, d2pro and Wiikey 2 both have it, and its 100% upgradeable via DVD. See that bigger black ship taking up most of the modchip? Thats the chip that is incharge of the initial hacking on the security chip inside your wii. The SPI controls all the game authentication, so in reality it should be the only chip you ever need to upgrade. You should never really need to upgrade that middle chip at all anyway, as nintendo can't really touch the firmware on the DVD drive from a Wii update. Its up to you though, we are only charging the difference in price, which is about $10 for wiikey v2.

Why should I buy the Wii premodified?
When you buy a wii yourself, and get it modified you will void your warranty. Installers can offer a warranty on the modchip and wiring, but not on the actual console itself. Buying the premodifed Wii from us will give you a 1 year warranty to cover hardware malfunctions that are not user caused. The Wii has a low failure rate, as Nintendo are great at making hardware, but its great to have the piece of mind that if something goes wrong with the Wii - we will help you out.
