Who doesn't know someone with a bricked PSP? I can name at least 5 mates that unsuccessfully downgraded their firmware. Until now, unbricking a PSP would cost a user amount $180~$250. Why? Because the modchip used to unbrick it is one of the hardest to install.

Lastly you need patience, and the ability to read – and if you have bricked your PSP, you probably are lacking those skills (don't take offense to that, I am a person who can't standing reading myself)
