A lot of people seem to be bricking their wiis with SOFTWARE modifications. Hardware modifications like the WODE are totally safe, and right now its totally impossible to brick your wii. When you start mucking around with the software, you mess around with the 512mb NAND memory on the wii.
With software mods, there are a million variables...and a million different ways to brick your wii.
- Updating your wii from a retail disc
- Updateing your wii online
- Trying to mess with cIOS files
- "stubbing" IOS files
- Installing PriiLoader
- Manually trying to upgrade your wii
- Trying to downgrade yout Wii
- Changing the Region on your wii, and then updating to 4.2 (003 error, which a lot of korean Wiis have!)
When you can bricked your wii you can end up with a bunch of different messages on your screen.
- Totally Blank scren (no video out, which means a low level brick)
- Opera error message
- Unauthorized Device detected, 003 error
- "The system files are corrupt, please refer to Wii operations manual"
One of the first steps of a good softmod guide is to back a NAND backup using Bootmii? Did you complete this step? If you have a 528mb file called nand.bin then we can fix your wii!
We do this by installing the Infectus 2.0 modchip onto your Wiis Nand and manually flashing the NAND back on. Your Wii will then return to its original state (of when you made the NAD backup)

The price we are charging is a lot cheaper then Nintendo fixing it. They know that you softmodded your wii, and will charge you $250 for a new motherboard.
You will need to send us
- Your Wii (just the motherboard, but its fine if you send the whole thing closed)
- 528 file on a SD card, USB stick or disc.
Before spend 5 or so hours unbricking your wii, we will check the nand file to make sure its valid.
You will be posting your Wii to Melbourne. This product is only valid for Australians. If you are in Melbourne, you can drop off your console to our store.
